Getting Started
- How do I start a meal session? Open ForkLock, pick your duration, choose which apps to block, and tap Start. That's it.
- How do I choose which apps to block? ForkLock uses Apple's Screen Time picker. You'll see all your installed apps and can pick individual ones or entire categories.
- Do I need to grant Screen Time permission? Yes. ForkLock needs Screen Time access to block apps. You'll be asked when you first set it up, or you can enable it in Settings > Screen Time.
Pro Upgrade
- How do I upgrade to Pro? Open ForkLock > Settings > Upgrade to Pro. It's $9.99 one-time through the App Store.
- How do I restore my purchase? Head to Settings > Restore Purchase. Your Pro status is tied to your Apple ID, so it works across all your devices.
- Can I get a refund? Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
Troubleshooting
- App blocking isn't working: Double check that Screen Time authorization is granted. Go to your device's Settings > Screen Time and make sure ForkLock has permission.
- Timer stops when I close the app: It shouldn't! The timer keeps running in the background. With Pro, you can also see it on the Dynamic Island and Lock Screen.
- Apple Watch isn't syncing: Make sure Bluetooth is on and both devices are nearby. Try opening ForkLock on both your phone and watch.
